Meet Jean—the founder of History Chip
Jean’s goal? To create a trustworthy community who would contribute their stories on History Chip, share their lived experiences, and help fix the mess that textbooks have left us with for decades (hello, missing voices!). And our job? To make that happen. Enter our magic —Precision Outbound Targeting and the CPO (Community-Powered Outreach) system.
The Challenge
History Chip had the mission, the heart, and a platform that screamed “Share your stories, people!” But what they needed was a steady flow of engaged contributors—folks who weren’t just going to give it a side-eye and scroll past, but who would hit that DM, raise their hands, and say, “Yes, Jean, let’s do this. I’ve got a story to tell.”
Our Approach
Step 1: Identify the right people (spoiler alert: not everyone is ready to spill their life stories online).
Step 2: Use Precision Outbound Targeting to actually find the ones who are. We went after individuals and groups who resonate with History Chip’s mission of inclusion and truth-telling.
Step 3: Slide into their DMs—but not in a creepy way! With our super-targeted outreach, we delivered messages that connected on a deep level. Seriously, these were the type of messages that made people stop, think, and say, “Wow, I need to be part of this.”
The Big Wins
Out of every 15 messages sent, we received 8 responses, Which is more than 50%.
Why? Because we have a deep knowledge of our potential buyers . And this way they entered our Sales funnel.
Right Engagement helped us gain quality ICP on Pipeline.
Jean’s Thoughts
Jean didn’t just appreciate the response rate (although, who wouldn’t?!). She loved that we didn’t focus on vanity metrics, but instead on building something real.
Conclusion
At the end of the day, it’s all about connection—connecting the right people with the right mission.
So, what’s the moral of the story? When you combine purpose, passion, and a dash of precision, great things happen. And who knows? Maybe the next history book won’t leave anyone out.
